Checking In with Our Key Suppliers

Checking In with Our Key Suppliers

It’s been a busy few weeks at ALPHR, and we’ve had the chance to sit down with some of our key suppliers to talk through ongoing projects, explore new ideas, and look at how we can improve the way we work.

Here’s a quick round-up of what we’ve been up to.

Looking at Logistics

One area we’ve been focusing on this month is logistics. We’re always trying to find ways to improve how we deliver to our customers, so we’ve been speaking with a number of logistics suppliers to see what else is out there. The idea was to get a better understanding of what each one could offer and how they might help us add more value to our service.

We invited several of them in, had some good conversations, and are now reviewing the different options to see what could work best. Nothing final yet, but it’s all with the goal of getting products to our customers faster and more efficiently.

Turck Banner

Turck Banner dropped by to walk us through some of their latest product developments. It was good to have their team in, and we got a closer look at what’s coming up and how it might fit with some of the projects we’ve got in the pipeline.

FESTO

We also had a visit from FESTO to support us with a specific application we’re working on. It was a hands-on session, with their team helping us figure out the best way forward for a particular project. Always useful to have them involved when we’re trying to work through the finer details of a design.

Keyence

Keyence were in to give us a hand with some of the vision systems we’ve been using. We had a few things we wanted to better understand, and their input really helped. It gave us more clarity on how to get the most out of the system and resolve some of the issues we were seeing on site.

All in all, it’s been a positive month for supplier engagement. These face-to-face sessions make a real difference, not just for solving immediate problems, but also for building better working relationships over time.

Plenty to take away, and we’ll keep the momentum going as we head into next month.
