Inside the Systems Group Summit

Inside the Systems Group Summit

Earlier this month, we welcomed colleagues from Natgraph, VES and Nolek to our European facility for the latest Systems Group Summit, a couple of days packed with discussions, updates, and a shared focus on what we can do better, together.

This year’s summit made one thing clear: there’s a lot of potential on the table.

Getting Everyone in the Room

We spent time going through what’s working across each business, where we’ve already collaborated successfully, and where we’ve hit challenges. Some great projects have come out of group partnerships. These conversations helped us figure out where we go next, with a focus on better communication and more joint planning from the start of a project.

A Look Inside Our New Facility

We also gave our guests a full tour of our newly expanded European site. At 3,500 square metres, it gives us the space we need for full machine build and debug, and acceptance testing at scale. The new tool shop means we now have full vertical integration, more control, less waiting around.

And with the option to expand by another 2,500 square metres on the same site if needed, we’re not short on ambition.

Updates from the ALPHR Team

Sorin Raciov, our Mechanical Design Manager from ALPHR EU, gave a walkthrough of our latest standard laser marker machine. The design’s now more modular, more cost-effective, and aimed at reaching a wider market without compromising on quality.

It’s part of a broader push to offer more standard machines that cover a range of processes: screwing, dispensing, pick & place, visual inspection, robot soldering and plasma clean. These platforms are designed to be built quicker and adapted more easily, which ultimately helps us deliver faster and more competitively.

Focus on Mexico, Morocco and the US

We spent a good chunk of time mapping out how we support our customers across these regions. Brand managers shared updates on pipeline opportunities and key accounts, and we discussed how we align sales and engineering support more effectively between companies. This wasn’t about big strategy slides, it was about agreeing on specific actions that help us operate better across borders.

Making the Group Work Better

A big theme across the two days was how we make the Systems Group more than just a name. That means clearer roles, smarter use of resources, and a more joined-up approach when we’re quoting or delivering projects. It also means improving how we work as a group, not just at leadership level, but across engineering, sales and service too.

Rather than a routine meeting, the summit created space for discussion between the companies, focusing on practical ways we can strengthen collaboration and deliver more together.

There’s a lot to be optimistic about, and even more to get done!
