In-Circuit Test (ICT)

They test for:

• Component values — resistors, capacitors, and inductors measured against expected values
• Open & short circuits — broken traces, missing solder, or unwanted bridges
• Correct orientation — diodes, transistors, and ICs verified for polarity and pin-out
• Missing components — unpopulated pads flagged instantly
• Basic functional checks — powered tests on ICs, voltage regulators, and simple circuits
